Instead of always going to the same Italian restaurant, we wanted to try something different and found Trattoria Romana via Google, which sounded promising with 4.5 stars and the many good reviews. A few steps up there was a small beer garden where we found a free table. The service was very friendly and the drinks were served quickly. Those were the positives. Aspects. Then our food came. I had ordered Pizza Sabine, ham, mushrooms and peppers were thinly sliced, if you hadn't known what was on it, you wouldn't have tasted it. The spicy salami was neither spicy, nor did you taste salami out of it. Every bite of the pizza tasted somehow "spicy", but nothing in particular. The garlic was perhaps powder, at least not fresh and not even garlic oil. My husband had it no better with the Pizza Annette, the Bolognese was neither visually nor in taste. Quite a failure and even a ready-made pizza would have done better here. The toilets are a bit old and are housed in a separate small building, in winter the waiting with only one ladies toilet could be a bit fresh ... What was more of a deterrent was the fact that the waitresses used a table right at the entrance to smoke, between the entrance of the restaurant and the beer garden. The cigarette was waiting in the ashtray while the waitress went to the table - sorry, that doesn't work! At an advanced hour the boss, who also seemed to be the cook, came and also sat down at the smoking table. Before that, however, he first closed the umbrellas, which then stole the last bit of atmosphere. Without a hello or any other word, simply close the umbrella over the guests' heads ... Without words! We usually give each restaurant a second try, but I don't think I'm doing that to myself anymore. Maybe the other dishes are better, maybe we only had the cooking assistant and everything else is great. For some reason, ours and others' experiences must be so starkly different. If I find out, I'll add my rating.

There is a beer garden that needs to be freshened up, you can make more of it, which would improve the ambience a lot! The service, i.e. the ladies, were very nice and accommodating. Beer is well chilled. That's it already. Toilets look very colorful and old, work. No limoncello Now to the chef of good German cuisine or career changers who would like to give their life new impulses through the pizza bakery, let it or try fresh food, if it costs more then increase the prices. I have no idea how someone in the reviews thinks that something that tastes like this is the best pizza in the region, etc. No idea what comes around with pasta and Co! This is not a place where we go a second time, the chef should drive a village or two and eat a pizza at the Italian restaurant and preferably everyone who thinks they are eating the best pizzas there.

Very nice beer garden, large selection of food and drinks. Very child friendly. Unfortunately no disabled entrance.

The pizza is super tasty, nice and friendly waitresses, but the toilets are a disaster. I hope the kitchen doesn't look that way. Nevertheless, we always like to go there to eat pizza.

Cozy family place for a perfect end of a day meal. Trattoria Romana is a nice little Italian refreshment randomly popping up in this little town. The service is fantastic, super personalized as if you were a local. Food is so very good. Pizza is well balanced with enough crunch to make you work for it. Regarding drinks, well, you are still in Germany, so spect no less.

Sign of a good restaurant? Reserved tables :) We were here for the first time and have reserved before. The service is very friendly. I had a side salad and Pizza Roma: delicious! Good prices and delicious pizza: gladly again :)

Good food. We had pizza Capricossa and Penne Chef. Both were tasety for a good prize.

The food there is very tasty and there is a nice atmosphere. The only drawback; the two tables are much too small & you sit extremely close to the other people .. I feel pretty uncomfortable. It almost feels like sitting at a table with your neighbor. Otherwise very nice staff.
